The Oneness of Everything
My friend, Jim Scott, is a superb composer, guitarist, and singer. His website describes him: "For more than three decades, Jim Scott has made it his business to create and perform music that celebrates the earth. His songs and poetry have inspired and educated audiences around the world. He has developed presentations for every age group and crafted songs that sensitize his listeners to the beauty of the earth, teaching principles of ecology in memorable verses."
I love Jim's music, and am especially fond of his song, "The Oneness of Everything". I often play it on the cello with my wife accompanying me on piano at the Unitarian Universalist church we attend in Kelseyville, CA. For years I have wanted to orchestrate it... finally got around to doing so for solo cello and orchestra. Believe me, I almost never arrange music by other composers - much less, feature their works on my website, but Jim's song is a joyful exception. Please go to Jim's website at http://jimscottmusic.com to learn more about this amazing musician. Listen to Scott singing "The Oneness of Everything" on his album "Sailing With the Moon". Please purchase his music!
