More Performances at the Tallman
Clovice will be performing with a band that is simply called "Blue Collar" in Lake County, California. The band features music mostly composed by Carl Stewart, a very fine songwriter transplanted from Los Angeles. They will be performing at the Tallman Hotel/Blue Wing Cafe on Mother's Day, May 10, 2009 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Clovice sat in for a few pieces with Robert Culbertson, undoubtedly one of the greatest Chapman Stick players on the planet. Robert and Clovice played together on February 27, 2009 at the Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake, California.
Clovice performed with the Lakeside Chamber Players at the Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake, California on May 15, 2008. This performance marked the second year when Clovice, Carolyn Hawley, and Catherine Hall performed original "Jazzical" compositions by Clovice. Christine Noble and Keely Southwick to also performed ballads and love songs.

Three orchestras in Northern California performed four concerts
of major orchestral music composed by Clovice Lewis:
- On Sunday, November 14, 2004 at 3:00 p.m.at the Lakeport Christian
Center in Lakeport, CA the second half of the concert belonged
to Lewis. The Lake
County Symphony Orchestra performed Lewis' first symphony,
"Portraits
of the Gulfcoast", then Lewis joined the orchestra
to play the 'cello on the premiere performance of his three-movement
"Cello Concerto #1".
- On Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. at the Mendocino College
Center Theater for the Visual & Performing Arts the Ukiah Symphony
Orchestra performed the "Concerto
for Bassoon and Orchestra", as well as the premiere
of "Jazz Sketches for Orchestra". Rufus Olivier, who played
the premiere performance of the Basson Concerto played on Saturday
night.
- On Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 3:00 p.m.the Ukiah Symphony Orchestra
repeated their performance of the "Concerto
for Bassoon and Orchestra", and the "Jazz Sketches
for Orchestra" at the Mendocino College Center Theater for
the Visual & Performing Arts. Dena Meier-Henry performed
the Bassoon Concerto that evening.
- The
Mission Chamber Orchestra premiered "Journey
To India", a new orchestral work by Clovice Lewis on Saturday,
February 5, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. The performance was at Le Petit
Trianon - 72 N. 5th Street, San Jose.

was premiered on May 9, 1998 with the Nova
Vista Orchestra, Emily
Ray Conducting. The piece received great a glowing
review
from the Los Altos Newspaper.
