Clovice will perform with the Lakeside Chamber Players at the Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake, California on May 15, 2008. This performance marks the second year when Clovice, Carolyn Hawley, and Catherine Hall will perform original "Jazzical" compositions by Clovice. music performed within four months...
Three orchestras in Northern California performed four concerts
of major orchestral music composed by Clovice Lewis:
- On Sunday, November 14, 2004 at 3:00 p.m.at the Lakeport Christian
Center in Lakeport, CA the second half of the concert belonged
to Lewis. The Lake
County Symphony Orchestra performed Lewis' first symphony,
"Portraits
of the Gulfcoast", then Lewis joined the orchestra
to play the 'cello on the premiere performance of his three-movement
"Cello Concerto #1".
- On Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. at the Mendocino College
Center Theater for the Visual & Performing Arts the Ukiah Symphony
Orchestra performed the "Concerto
for Bassoon and Orchestra", as well as the premiere
of "Jazz Sketches for Orchestra". Rufus Olivier, who played
the premiere performance of the Basson Concerto played on Saturday
night.
- On Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 3:00 p.m.the Ukiah Symphony Orchestra
repeated their performance of the "Concerto
for Bassoon and Orchestra", and the "Jazz Sketches
for Orchestra" at the Mendocino College Center Theater for
the Visual & Performing Arts. Dena Meier-Henry performed
the Bassoon Concerto that evening.
- The
Mission Chamber Orchestra premiered "Journey
To India", a new orchestral work by Clovice Lewis on Saturday,
February 5, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. The performance was at Le Petit
Trianon - 72 N. 5th Street, San Jose.

- The Jazzical
Music Radio Station will soon be broadcasting over the internet. This presents Jazzical Music with a remarkable ability
to have our music heard 24 hours anywhere in the world. Clovice Lewis
will host several shows, including the "Jazz Corner", "The
Chamber Music Showcase", "Love Songs and Ballads",
and "New Classical Music". The shows will feature program notes
and introductions for each piece personally narrated by Clovice.
- In 2002 Clovice performed at the Upper Lake Elementary School in
the Clearlake, California area. We thought you'd enjoy this rave

Clovice Lewis', Two Poems for Bassoon and Orchestra
was premiered on May 9, 1998 with the Nova
Vista Orchestra, Emily
Ray Conducting. The piece received great a glowing
review
from the Los Altos Newspaper.
