Clovice was featured on the Word Weavers show on the local public station KPFZ (88.1) on December 31, 2017. Carolyn Hawley conducted the interview, which covered a broad range of topics about Harlem Voices and the historical events that it addresses. Clovice described the inspiration that caused him to create the musical. Musical selections from the piece were also played during the interview.
I've really needed a blog that combines all the many things I do (and the many ways I do them) into an easy to use portal.
You will find four categories 1) Sermons 2) Politics 3) Music, and 4) Musings
This is where I will post long political opinions that I have been abusing poor Facebook with from now on. It is also possible to read all of my many sermons written over the past 20 years, just in case you'd like to know what is in the mind of a heretical Agno-Atheist UU. There are other non-political writings, such as essays and poetry (under Musings). Last, but not least, the blog is where I will feature insight about my latest musical creations and provide special access to hundreds of pieces of music that I have composed.
Please make a habit of visiting clovicelewis.com. Stay for virtual cookies and milk, please leave your own thoughts, and share the blog with anyone you feel might benefit from dropping in also. Peace.
