Friday Jam

This piece was recorded on a Friday evening after working at Dolch Logic Instruments in Dietzenbach, Germany. I stayed late to continue working on a gnarly problem. The Boss and owner of the company, Volker Dolch, came in to visit and told me that when he gets frustrated he liked to kick trash cans. We did that together for a while. Then he told me to go home. This was a recorded multi-track improvisation I did on a TEAC-144 multi-track cassette deck.  I dedicate this piece to the memory of a really wonderful man, Volker Dolch, inventor of the bar code.
