Everything's Just Right
On Saturday morning, October 25, 2014, I woke up with this piece stuck in my head. The words "Everything's Just Right" and the melody would not leave me alone. The words seemed to flow out about not trying to control your (or anyone else's) world. People who know me know that I am an insanely happy person so this piece reflects Saturday's optimism about life.
Many composers like me have such "dittys" appear to them. We composers sometimes tend to reject them if they are not "serious", or somehow fit our idea of what style we should be composing in. I, on the other hand, believe that all music that comes to me is a gift. It is intended for someone in the world to listen to or perform. So my job is to record what is presented as accurately as possible. Yeah, maybe this is a bit over-orchestrated, but I had fun working on it on that day.

This version of "Everything's Just Right" was produced as a movie with AI generated images. It is recorded with the “Many of One” Orchestra with an AI voice. I am eager to hear this performed by real, breathing, flesh and blood musicians. Drop me a line!
